I just got word from Shawn at analoguehaven.com that they will get the first shipment of TurboMIDI units in America, and that they're coming "soon"!

He couldn't tell me how soon or how much, but he did tell me that you can possibly ask to reserve one when they arrive.

was your AH friend able to give you any details on TM -- I'm so curious to see what this will do and how it will do it (the technology, etc.)

"Also I will give you the option to buy the first Turbo Midi upgrade we receive (this allows you to dump samples faster).
Street price will be $XXXX iirc. Elektron promised us their first two units becase we placed a large order recently. And I'll promise you the opportunity to buy our first unit."

So, it seems that even the people selling the unit don't have an exact idea of what it does!?

It would have been cool to buy the first unit in America, but I'd rather someone else be the guinea pig.

And I had to XXXX out the price, per his request, but it may or may not be expensive depending on how important convenience is to you.
