Just got my hands on a bcf 2000, any octatrack users with experience using the two devices together?

Yes, do you have a question ?
I had no trouble hooking them up, although the config of the bcf is not really straight forward, you wil need the manual.

Do you find the combination usefull?
I was thinking about using it as a "mixer" would be quite perfect, since it got eight tracks just like the octatrack.
Too bad I dont have the manual, I will try to find it online..

If you are on a window's machine BCmanager is the way to go. The yahoo group can answer just about any question you might have about the bcf.

surely a good choice - i was going to get the BCR2000 (32 encoders), which would be more suited to my needs than having 8 faders as on the BCF...
but both behringer controllers are rugged and programmable, not too expensive - so for live purposes its definitely a good choice. (I'm using touchOSC on iPad, but I'm not sure i'd take the pad to certain venues...)
