Uh huh, I get what you mean.

I had similar problems interfacing with my Yamaha An1x (which I had since '98, but recently sold). I think I used it on maybe one song due to the cumbersome "matrix" parameter interface.

Today, my rule is that if you can't integrate it into a song within 6 months, it has to go! (Thanks to the monomachine, I may have a very minimal setup within a year!)

I'm still all about the sound of the DSI, however. If i can find it for around $400 used, I'll pick it up, but there's no rush--I've barely cracked open the G2!

I've been looking into elby-designs.com. They even have a version of the avr. And a monowave... I got to elby through musicfromouterspace.com.

But I must finish those ssls first...

Radioshack is having a clearance sale and I have 6.00 on my gift card... gotta get those PSes when they are really despirate.
