I just found this the other day: http://www.znarfelectronix.de/

Click on the left side under "Synthesizer-H?rtest" then click on the hyperlink that says "Hier". It gives a list of synths that were fed the same MIDI file and gives you a sense of their "raw" sound.

I have been playing on an andromeda for a few years, and I have never once had any problems with or, nor have I been dissapointed.

It is exactly what you would expect it to be. An old school analoge synth with a modern OS and other features.

I would say the andromeda is easily in the top 3 general purpose synths of all time.
