this is a double post, sorry just want to get 'maximum coverage' seeing as time is an issue and I'd appreciate some feedback..

The context of the original post was on the topic of plasticman and the 303....well I'm on the list for the x0xb0x - a 303 clone. Its gonna cost me a total of around $550 between buying the kit and either buying the equipment I'd like to use to build it, or pay some one to put it together. Anyways - I was thinking why dont I just save and pick up a future retro revolution, since the samples I heard sound sooo lush.
Plus the sequencer seems cool for jamming with, however I dont want to forgo any of the sound possibilities of the x0x/303 .... so whats the verdict? does the retro revolution cover the same ground as 303 and then some, or does it only cover some ground with some similarities only perhaps ?


I think I'm gonna hold out, but I have to make my decision now as I just got the email from the x0xb0x crew today - and I have about a week to buy the kit or someone else gets it....
