A bit of a overkill if you have the MD & MM but the filter sounds great!. Here a clip from Sonic State:

what's this bad boy retailing for? I have an Indigo 2, an MD, and I just nabbed an RS7000 for a steal, so I have these bases covered--oh but it is lovely. I want to learn more about it's sampling capabilities.

Spectralis is fantastic!
I own MnM and MD, also a Sidstation.
Well still got some more HW-Synth'S, the list is long.
Soince four weeks i own the Spectralis. First at all i am impressed about the concept. Than i was looking for something to compliment my MD and XBase09 with Drumsamples.
Third thing is that i love analog Synths (Spectralis got one analog Voice).
That's why i preordered this machine a long time ago, there some other sample machines like the electribe and so, but i trusted the concept of J. Schaaf...
And, alright, i have to say Spectralis is not completly finished yet, but it is getting closer and closer every week.
Still at the moment this machine rocks!
You can put two SM-Cards inside, when you plug spectralis to you Computer you get four devices (2 x SM, Flash and Ram) and you are able to drag and drop samples, OS-Versions, etc.. directly on them. This is so easy. The sequencer is very tight and the sound is everything i missed. The Filterbanl is also a great tool.
That's all for now... :-P

If you already own a MnM and MD why would you need the Spektrails. If your responce is the sampler then I think you got ripped off cause you can use a pc for that. $2500 price is way to high for this groove box

The obvious response is that he had the money and wanted it. As far as the price is concerned, I agree it's steep, but boutique synths are usually like that. The SFX-6 isn't cheap, either. The guy who makes them needs to sell enough of them to keep his shop open, and that can't be easy.

Ever notice that the sounds on the MnM are limited.

I am not owner of monomachine and I just made comment because it seem like they all sound the same. read my other post on the machinedrum and monomachine being limited sounds.
