I would base you decision on what you want to learn.
I would buy a DSI for it's innovation. SE sounds good, but I don't think it's anything new.

the difference between the nova edition and the regular x is: integrated fuzz circuit(awesome sounding) and sine wave on one of the oscillators for extra boom.
