This year for instance I have booked tickets for Amon Tobin gig in London, and a 3 day festival in Cornwall.
This festival is aimed at a reunion of a club I used to go to 20 years ago, and as such the acts and the music are generally classic in nature. Last year we had Jon da Silva (original hacienda dj) and Shades of Rhythm doing a PA!! it was class and gives older acts acts an opportunity to keep their hand in. This year we will have Andrew Weatherall and Justin Robertson - how wicked is that! kept to a maximum capacity of 400 people and everyone camping in a private zoo! Awesome stuff.
funky dunky dude kevin lancaster is one of my mates and rayan's misses used to be my asst manager for envy(clothing) and nick's wife used to work for my miss's(teacher) and I used to have long chats with justin robertson in the back room at cream/nation.. I used to go to the rezerections in scotland 1990(hardcore back then buddy) jumpin jack frost, bass generator, carl cox , live pa's from love decade ,dream frequency and since I was so mashed I cant remember the rest lol happy bloody days mate happy bloody days
