we ended up with 73 tracks, very few of which included the track information in the tags like we asked for in the criteria for track submission on the first page of this thread.
I actually did a lot of data entry for mine using Itunes but almost all of it disappeared from the one in the zip file, plus the names were replaced with someone else's. The latter is understandable for anonymity but it's too bad that all of the info I typed in got nuked. No biggie but oh well it would have been highly preferable for you to discuss this with me in private. in fact, i still hope you will. i certainly didn't intend to nuke your information. i was going for anonymity. and are you saying i changed the name of your track? i cross checked these 73 tracks 5 times to make sure that didn't happen. PM me with your concerns so we can straighten them out asap.
with a project this size, fallibility on some level is almost guaranteed, as is general dissatisfaction with some part of the project by some cross section of the population.
we've done our best to make this thing happen and however we arrive at the end i am sure it will ultimately reflect positively on the smart and talented people that comprise our community here.
and for the record veets, the track your collaborator sent me was very well tagged but it was all related to WHO did what on the track, so i removed it. if your track is selected the relevant details will surely be included.
