Below are the pairings for the new science labs. The rules are simple: collaborate with your partner to create a song on the elektron machine you've been assigned to using ONLY that machine. No post processing, no external processing, no external controllers (wesen, I'm looking in your direction!), no external sequencing, no nuthin' -- just a straight recording into your computer and bounce to mp3. Also, only one entry per pairing.
**EDIT** Entries are due on Jan. 20, 2009 in mp3 and sysex format.
**EDIT** Please submit the sysex, the recorded mp3, and any samples you might have used. Since the files section can only host files up to 8MB in size, anything larger than 8 MB will have to be hosted off-site.
Good luck and have fun!

Just so folks know we're starting over in our count for the Science Labs. The lab counts have gotten uneven over time. For example, the MNM would be #04 and the MD #02, etc. Kinda confusing.
For now on, they'll all follow the same number and the same start and end times, whether people enter or not. So we're starting at SL01. The naming scheme prefixed with SL so we can differentiate from og labs labeled as #01, etc.

correct. just the machines. that's what the science labs have been about -- to force us to learn the elektrons. it'll be fun. . . promise. but it might hurt a bit. =)

i've got at least one person in mind, on the fly -- don't worry, we'll figure out how to make this work!
So, for mnm mkII users, is there any restriction on uploaded waveforms? Should we stick with the stock digi machine waveforms or anything goes as long as its in the box?
