Hi,

Does anyone ever tried to use a SD to CF Adapter within the Octatrack ? I know that it works with digital camera but with the Octatrack...

I was looking into this too. From what I gathered, those adapters are made with the thicker type II form factor, where the OT only uses type I. Speed may also be an issue but I'm not sure.

I haven't tried an adapter myself, but I think speed will be a major problem. All the other samplers that I have used that had SD ports loaded the audio from the card into memory first. However, whilst the OT can do this, one of its strongest points is the ability to stream large data files directly from the card. Using an SD card instead of CF will create issues with this functionality.
