The slot on the side is obviously Meant for spare change as that's its main power source and its also somewhere to play hide the bacon so it can replace your wife eventually. Its also a speaker so it can whisper to you in the night when your not using her enough. And eventually help your children with there homework.

There will be a male version too and each has its own character like a FURBY.

It's intelligence varies depending on what you feed it but it will certainly be more intelligent than you as that's how it eventually takes over.

yeh that'd be nice too!

but all i really need is a 16 track, sampler/groovebox with plenty of memory/storage, kit/pattern/song structure and most importantly elektron workflow and tricks/automation-- plocks, CTRL-AL. and that's it. so yeh an md mk3

Really? Im NEVER selling my Tempest I love it too much. Its literally my favourite bit of gear I've ever owned. I do however think it would work awesomely well along side a 6 voice elektron analog synth with digital FX.

I'm thinking 24 bit monomachine, I doubt Elektron would get involved in the whole analog thing but who knows? Maybe analog oscillators with digital filters / effects etc Either way, i'm buying it!

Part of me hopes it's not analog, I could see that pushing the price up to 2500 - 3000 :-/

Digital synth with option to spit out CV-signal from oscs, egs, lfos which makes it handy integrate with modular setup. No analog oscillators, no analog filters, but possiability to connect digital synth and digital architecture to analog modular environment - tradition and future. All this with elektron sequencer.
