Badass flick... I would actually like to see a series of them with all kinds of sounds from their machines...shit, I would buy the DVD Brilliant really Respect

Those cv's look troubling... trouble as if I should quickly sell my modular stuff or sell other gear for this. Either way I still have a bit of a walk with my OT, so maybe if the beta needs some testing,I will be ready then

There is a magic about Elektron and this just stirs the pot that makes me appreciate the other machines in my possession ATM... looking forward to what the Elektron Wizardy Crew has manifested for us.

"I get the feeling that Elektron loves its users and that these elaborate teaser videos are more for "us" than for marketing."

Bingo! Same impression here. They're passionate about their product and it shows. Plus I think someone in the group dabbles in filmmaking.

And, hello everyone! First time poster and a new Machinedrum owner. Great forum, btw.

The video is very cool, was a pleasure to watch. I would have liked to see more about the new beast but time will come and we will get the facts. The video indeed was the most interesting product introduction in music business i have seen so far.

I believe the the new machine will be very usefull and special, it will find the way to my place soon after it`s release.

Could Elektron make boring videos like Roland does? Yeah, and they could do it at less cost than these cinematic teasers. But they don't. Instead, they go above and beyond to give us something watchable and exciting. I think it's great to have a product from a company like that.

If you're disappointed because you aren't getting the info you want, then the teasers might be working. Or something. The boring videos can come later. Just my opinion.

I think it's a natural reaction. Some people are more impatient than others, so ones prefer concrete information about the product while others don't care if they have to wait some more weeks while being teased. All this 'hating' talk is childish.

The first teaser had, supposedly, sound samples of the machine. It was short, but good enough. This one brought very little new information, if any at all.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that was checking how much video was left while the 'story' was going on in the background, waiting for the machine to be demoed

just played the vid again and listened on some better speakers without watching. certainly 'sounds analog'

to my hearing, it sounds like there are a couple of pretty special fx in this...definitely a serious delay, a nice reverb and possibly some kind of vocoder.

that last scene it sounds/looks like maybe 1 track pumping out some big fat sound and sweeping a very smooth filter (suspect VCF not DCF) - that's a nice tease!

the fx grabbed my attention - sounds like maybe a delay line that can playback whole loops...not quite a sampler, just a very long delay??

I had been trying not to get too excited about this, despite recently considering an analog companion for my Trinity+Maschine setup (cheap ala Minibrute/Minitaur or maybe even Tempest), but the sounds in this vid which I am assuming are all generated and/or processed by the A4 have gotten me super excited. Good thing I designed my new desk to have space for 1 more Elektron.

I reckon this is a better teaser than it seems, if you turn it up and close your eyes!!!
