Look at the MIDI and CV ports, they're gonna use the OT's great independent track length sequencer. I mean, if it is only 6 tracks I think you're gonna have plock on top of plock.

Also, real spring reverb? That verb sounds nice, spring is one of the harder ones to emulate in software and previous elektron boxes have had, uh, special reverbs.

The noise effect is interesting. They're using it as a fake turntable sound, but I hope it's a little more flexible than that or else it'll get cornball fast.

Someone stated this early on in the thread and it makes sense with the CV's. I hope I am right, I need a control to sync my small modular rig. WhenI hear stories of people who sold their car for modules, I clench my empty wallet

Is it possible that CV stands for something entirely different in Elektron world?

And, has the possiblity of a vocoder been mention?

I still maintain there's some analog filters in there after hearing the demo and video - I tried feeding my Leipzig through the MnM for an idea of what the Elektron filter would sound like with a real VCO fed through it and whilst the results areinteresting you get better results with an analog oscillator through a multimode analog filter IMHO.
That said if it had digital comb and band reject filters plus a multimode LP/HP/BP analog filter I'd be pretty pleased - BP filters are still some of my favourites to use in general.
I think they'd be taking the piss calling it analog 4 and putting 100% digital filters in it IMHO but we shall wait and see.

Right i'm going to break ranks here and reveal the truth - they ARE analog filters...... Analog models of classic digital filters from popular VSTi and 80s synths.

i'll throw my hat into speculative ring: the CVs can be routed to the synth's analog parameters. one of the extra "tracks" is for a mod matrix and modulation of the CVs with the usual elektron tricks, including CV destination locks. the other is for the effects. the button labeling would then follow how e.g. the OT parameter page buttons have two lines of text under them, one for the audio tracks and the other for midi mode.
