Haha - no problem. CTR-8P is one of those hidden gems

it would be nice to have a p-lock machine to chain in with any of the other synths or drums like an effect. Could have delay (when to start the p-lock), linear/exponential, sin, tri, etc. and/or possibly a way to control the individual p-locks (their behavior on a certain parameter). I love'em, but I want more control with as little work arounds as possible.


Also, I NEED unlimited (or at least a few or five steps back) of undo/redo. I have once again become caught up in the creative juices of the MnM/MD/ND3r and have lost all of my programming after switching between multiple patterns and not catching undo in time. I don't even care if I have to give up what little bit of precious memory I have on the UW mkII. I'm usually so good at saving and backing up, but sometimes I need someone to save me from my own stupidity! ...I now have to back up and leave my studio for at least a few hours or I'm going to start throwing things.

Next, on upcoming MD models, can someone implement a feature that when something is muted the led doesn't turn off, but rather change color (a nice contrasting blue perhaps) so that I know what's hitting there even when it's muted. I have most of my drums set up the same, but there are sometimes where I program a lot of different pads or midi lines and I'm guessing when I un-mute if I can't find my cheat sheet.

I don' t know if this has been said before but I would love a single page of 8 midi value controllers in the midi machines of the MD.

With this the Machine Drum would fit the standard of most software synths with 8 macros and you wouldn't have to be afraid of accidentally moving a knob that changes the CC Number. Which can lead to horrible results with the parameter locks.

I would like to be able to arrange the machines' parameters in different ways (i.e., move the PITCH parameter in the 8th slot) so that when using [FUNCTION] + encoder I can get different results.

that's a cool idea. It would be very complicated though and I really like the way I have learnt where the parameters are so it's quick to work.

I have thought recently of something similar though about a simple app that has one midi controller input and several outputs. This would be possible with software Or minicommand and would do something similar using an external controller. This would achieve your aim.

Here's another one, a lot more pragmatic:

When keeping a BANK GROUP button pressed for more than 2 seconds, a table of the kits associated to that bank's patterns should pop up. This should allow for easier access to patterns/kits.

with an external midi controller you dont need to enter the mute page at all. mutes flash up for a second only. possible workaround
