Did anyone post about 1 Giant sample bank vs. separate ones on the +Drive? Or at least having the option?

Well I made it through 15 pages trying to see whether my requests have been mentioned....sorry I just couldn't do the 47 pages so forgive me if this has already been mentioned.

I would love to see a stereo spread FX on the MD. I know you can do it with an offset delay but it's such a shame to tie up the delay to perform that function, especially when the MD cannot play stereo samples. How do you guys get round this limitation. By using a CTR FX machine and Plocking the delay parameters as required? Using two copies of the same sample, panned hard left and right, one with 10ms silence at the beginning? (shame because it ties up a sample slot)

The other thing I'd like to see is a Global setting that reprograms the tempo button to act like Function/Extended. It just doesn't make sense to me to have to jump from two handed parameter tweaking all the way to the other end of the box, to perform a two button action when you want to reset your pattern, when there's a single button sitting right there next to the parameter knobs.

Moving the steps left and right with Function + Left/Right could work in the arpeggio page too.

I would love to see the polymode become more flexible, so you can divide the tracks between mono and polymode and use them simultaniously. This way the polymode would make much more sense, and you could for instance use the fx-machines on a polychannel. Or add a bassline off course

I'd really like some form of flam implementation on the MD. It'd also be nice to have a page with the global setting that makes the extended/classic button programmable.

Gday all first post here,,, had a Machinedrum UW2 for almost a year now and about to get the monomachine. Not usually a brand fanboy but elektron have earned my respect!

Anyway I do have a feature request and I don't know if it has already been mentioned:

Would it be possible to implement away to change kits during pattern in an automatable/parameter lockish sort of way?

I know a half workaround is to work in song mode but one uses up patterns quickly when wanting say 5 different kits cycling over different measures in same pattern.

Classic mode is useful for this but you are even more limited than in song mode.

I know that the MD can switch kits on the fly with minimal glitching no problem so am surprised that this hasn't been implemented in some form.

I figure the obvious way to go about it would be to create a new machine called "MDkit" or something that allows one to select one of the 64 kits (really its a machine that would only need one parameter). With some parameter locking things would easily start to get fun!

Then imagine if one had the +drive... a second parameter for choosing one of the 128 snapshots for variety squared!

I am officially requesting:

*Keyboard mode* - where when you open a midi machine you could use the 16 keys like a mini
keyboard with octave up and down. I would be happy if it were monophonic, poly would be best. I seem to remember my old Roland MC-303 had this feature and I thought it was genious.
This would bring my Access TI Snow alive.

*Tempo Save* - we need to save the tempo with the pattern. Enough said.

*Waveforms in the GND kit* - you got it half right. Now you should add a short square and saw wave perfectly cropped so that we can loop it - which would require the "TRIG" loop function to be on that page. That way we can extend the looped saw, square or sine and then use decay and filters to make cool synth sounds.

*128 beat bar length* - not to harp on about how cool the crappy MC-303 was - but if that machine was capable of long bar lengths surely the coolest drum machine/sequencer/sampler in the world should be...just do it!!!

wasn't there a post somewhere from elektron that indicated the separate track lengths per instrument on the MD/MnM isn't possible to implement?

was trying to find that one but couldn't.

A jump function would solve places where two buttons are spaced far apart.

MD - the ability to chain 2 patterns together to create a 8 bar loop would be a great feature.

Working with 4 bar loops just ain't the same
