I don't know exactly but I think the encoders self are the same on both the mkI and the mkII. But the mathematics i.e. the processing behind them could be different which allows the software engineer to implement an adjustable divisor to the step encoders only on the mkII units...

So, has anyone had any success with 1.53b OS ? Or is everyone afraid to try it?!
