Help: Pickup machine "Dub aborted" message 11 Years, 5 Months ago
Hi guys, hope you can help me out on this one:

When I try to use the pickup machine I get a "Dub aborted" message when it's supposed to overdub on the track. I can't get my head around why - the length is set to 16 - should I clear a recorder-buffer or something (and if; how?)

Are you setting your OT to slave with external MIDI clock?

Yes - but I have also tried without - I found one problem is that Ableton is very unstable and tweaks the tempo a bit which the pickupmachine probably can't handle? I'll try to slave Ableton from OT. I'll report back!

had the same message. in my case the problem was, that I adjusted the pitch of the pickup machine. You can not overdub if the pitch is unequal zero.

I am running OS1.21B.
