Something loose inside unit - Machinedrum-UW+ MK2 13 Years, 1 Month ago
Hello everyone, my first post.

I just got MD-UW, and I love it. One thing that bothers me though, is when I move the unit around, it sounds like there is something loose inside the unit. But when I leave it on a firm surface, and hit all the buttons/knobs etc... there is no noise. Is this normal?

Thanks!

never opened up a MD but I have opened up my MNM and there are these little isolator pads that fit where the screws go in and one got loose and rattled around before I found it and stuck it back on...i dunno maybe its something like that?

If it's a screw it may short out a trace on one of the boards... Best to open it up and investigate otherwise it could be a costly repair...

I have found this topic searching about a similar issue i have with my uw+
When i move the unit, it's sounds like a rattle. Its like inside there are little pieces that move. Its very strange. I have asked elektron, and i am waiting for the answer. Possibly this is normal, anyone can test it please? thanks.
