This is probably a stupid question. I live in the states. Will be in the UK and Amsterdam for a month. Can I just plug in my Octatrack using the little converter plugs, or do I need a different power adaptor? Don't want to blow up my prized possession. Thanks much.

Yep, and they also work in Brussels and Thailand, among other places As long as the blades of the plug fit, but you've got that covered with your plug adaptors. The cord separates into two parts as you know, one is the PSU part that deals with the electricity and the other just attaches to that and has a plug. The plug part is switchable and I just happened to get a European-style plug-blades (the cylindrical prongs kind) by mistake on my US Octatrack. I got a US-style plug and I was good to go. The PSU part is worldwide compatible.

Ahhh excellent! THanks for the tips, gonna have to bring a few students with to show them proper techno clubs. Maybe I can even get a few of them hooked on drum machines.
