Just shed a little tear:

MD picking up clock and midi on channel 12, global midi edit menu set to recieve gate,

MNM sending a random arpegiated pattern at fast speed (3 is good!) over 2 octaves, starting at C2,

Voila! Controlled polyrthmic beauty... now tweak that arp speed... that's when I cried a bit.

Without doubt this is the best thing I have ever found on my elektrons, I shit you not!

MNM MIDI out to MD in,
MD picking up monomachines midi (ie base channel 11-15),
MD's globals set to trigger from midi (not start!),
MNM MIDI track 12 playing Chord note C2,D2,E2,F2, etc...
MIDI track 12 ARP settings: SID mode, random arp in one octave, at speed 3, ARP length 11, mute some ARP steps, set the ARP range to 2 ocatves.
repeat the above with other machines at different speeds!

Sounds cool, have no idea what it means as I don't have a mono but it sounds like a lot of controllable semi-random fun.

pretty sure with a bit of clever ARPing I can replicate the beat repeat feature in abletion live... funny, I bought a minicommand to make polyrhythms and beat repeats on the MD and since found that both can be done with the monomachine... Ill prolly buy another MC one day when a monomachine ARP control and ctrl-all firmwares are made, unless I find I can do it on the MD first!
