just found a cool window that appears when both Data Buttons are pressed .. effective only for Multi Trig mode .. provides the adsr envelope to shape the sound of all 6 monosynths.

I dipped into mulit env on the 6, never really got it doing anything useful though; I think its for creating huge monster synths: A basic use would be if you used 6 sid machines at different pitches with the envs held open, detuned each and then shaped the sound with the multi env... play it in multi trig mode and you have a 6 osc giant. With arps running, different envs on each and lfo's all over the place you could get some real complex sounds going... think Zoot did this at one point.
I flirted with mulit trig too and still think there's loads to be had out of that... I will investigate further once Im back with the 6 as its easier.
Things like this are the beauty of the MNM; always makes me smile when people brand it as a simple 8/16 bit soundalike machine... get stuck in, such a flexible instrument.

lol, Multi Trig mode is a new zone of adventure for many it would seem ..
and the Multi Env window is a great invitation, love the screen design.
i like the idea of an Elektron-based groove generation environment in Multi Trig.. random Lfo, BBox for a couple of the monosynths, high bleep sounds with arpeggiation ..
edit: and some choice isorhythmic action, courtesy of the cool recent tutorial.

I'm worried about the Multi Env tried a few different combinations but I still havent got it to sound like its making a difference.... I have only had the MnM for six days but I have spent most the time zipping trough the manual. Was on the MnM last night. Sh!t I lost 4 hrs just in self indulgent bleep bleep Blong Burp Blong playing. Gawd it felt good.
