I have been addicted to gear for more than 11 years now. After starting off with Reaktor and a Jomox Xbase, i realized that my notebook wasn't powerful enought those days and the software wasn't stable enough. So i was "forced" to get hardware and didn't touch the computer anymore.

This has changed. Imo there are only some few reasons to go 100% hardware. I have one of the first Monos and i still discover new settings everytime a play with her - i don't expect any new product from Elektron. I am so happy with the stuff they created.

Any sound source, so cheap it may be, can be a great inspiration. I also thought that i need this new thing and that little toy to get better and better. It's an illusion and the music industry uses this to sell more and more. So, don't talk so much about new products - it's time to make music with the stuff you have!

I agree. I am kinda stuck tho as my 303 died in the middle of a session the other day and now I have to get it fixed.

But as soon as I do, I'm back on track!

yeah I agree 100%, but it's not the time to say that to me cause my audio card blew up!!!!!


I can't work much!!!


I feel so powerless (of course without sound on my pc!!)... just when I had money to buy something nice, then back to square one!!!!

time to jam without a PC!!
