OT: Track recorders - clear/reverting to default 12 Years, 7 Months ago
While sampling from an external source, I somehow managed to load one of my saved & normalized samples to the R5 slot, i.e. the one that ordinarily holds Recorder 5.

Now I can't make the R5 slot read "Recorder 5" again. Does anyone know how to make it revert to its default setting?

Double if this is in the manual somewhere and I'm overlooking it. Thanks!

hrm, that doesn't seem like something that should be able to happen but you could try Function + Clear with the slot selected. This would normally clear the recorder.

same here, manual says you can load samples to the recorder slots but it wont go away, will try now

Simply double click the Track and hit Function+clear...

I didn't know you could do this.. I suppose I should get around to reading the manual, lol
I wonder if the extra memory reserved for each of the 8 recorders gets freed up when loading a smaller sample? Could be handy..

Thanks for the help gang...I'll give this a try. I've read the manual a few times, but obviously my retention isn't the greatest
