I just wanted to say it.... played around with a simple pattern with a bunch of crazy triplet time stutters and it really, really got the notes locked in the groove nicely!

Frack yeah, that was satisfying to try out. I was afeerd it would be... klunky.

One thing to be careful with is if the track you're recording into has a swing amount on it, you might be surprised to hear your realtime note timing getting swung. Turn the swing off for that track if you want to hear it exactly as you recorded.

Hearing this makes me excited. Thinking about picking up an OT again (had before OS 1.0) to make it my "hub" when I make music alone. You should post up some jams, I'd love to hear how you're using it.

I would also be interested in exactly what you're doing - what are the button pushes? So you're recording from one track into another? Are both audible?

Live recording trigs into tracks playing short "notes" or "hits".
Ie press record+play, then tapping on the 8 trig buttons like a sailor.
Also works with midi input.
