Artifacts in my samples 12 Years, 5 Months ago
|
So, this weird...I seem to picking up sort of audible artifact in my samples. This has happened now in two separate sample now. It is a loud click, sound right in the middle or the samples. You can see it on the wave forms, a large noise spike, like some info was destroyed or something. These spikes are not part of the original samples. Has anyone else experienced this? It sucks.

Did these samples exist before or did you record them in the ot? Either way, can you post them somehow? There are so many different kind of artifacts.

I recorded them with field recorder and imported them. The clicks did not exist in the recording on the field recorder, and did not exist in the samples for quite awhile, but they are their now...I will try to post.

This happens to me when I forget I'm using a static sample, and get a little err "frisky" with the trigs and retrigs and the what nots. Seems like it's pretty easy to corrupt a sample when aggressively streaming right out the storage card.
Are you using them as flex or static?
