I'm trying to stick together a coherent email from the gibberish I posted in this thread.

perhaps also consider re-introducing a hardware mixer to your setup? imho the monomachine really behaves a lot nicer when being massaged by hardware eq.

so, here's ther first part:

Monomachine EQ Frequencies

Below 60Hz it's a bit hard to distinct, but i think I nailed it.
Above 12kHz or 121 doesn't seem to have an effekt. The spike of the EQ goes away in the analyzer abvoe these values.

40Hz - 1
60Hz - 10
80Hz - 16
100Hz - 21
150Hz - 29
250Hz - 41
300Hz - 44
500Hz - 54
1000HZ - 68
1500Hz - 76
1800Hz - 80
2000Hz - 82
2500Hz - 87
3000Hz - 90
3500Hz - 93
4000Hz - 96
4500Hz - 98
5000Hz - 100
6000Hz - 104
7500Hz - 109
10000Hz - 114
12000Hz - 121

I'm going to do MnM Filter, MD EQ and MD Filter in the following days.

:EDIT:

I also uploaded a file Monomachine_EQ_Table_v1.0
If anyone has adjustments, we can do a v.1.1

wow. fair play.. looking forward to the MD filter!

I assume the MD EQ is the the same as Mnm, but I guess you're gonna find out.

Hats off to you sir

perfect utilization of the backslap

so.. if the EQF parameter on the MnM is set to 54 (500 hz range), and the EQG parameter is set to 32, i wonder how many decibels of reduction that is.

thanks for the backslaps
it only took me about an hour, including double check.

In the manual it says that "positive values boost, and negative reduce the signal up to a
maximum of 36dB."

So IF it's linear, 32 should equal 18db of reduction. But I don't know if this is true.
I'm going to keep an eye on it when I do the MD EQ tonight. But it could be different, as there is no statement in the MD manual about the maximum db of its eq.

ok, EQ Freqs for MD.

Seems to be different from the MnM. There is more precision in the low subs and the high end.
Also it goes up to 16kHz.
Where the MnM starts with 40Hz at 1, the MD starts with 40Hz already at 10. 1 pushes the sound below 40Hz in a strange way. So it's like one step shifted from the MD in my frequency table.

Machinedrum EQ Frequencies

40Hz - 10
60Hz - 18
80Hz - 23
100Hz - 28
150Hz - 37
250Hz - 47
300Hz - 50
500Hz - 60
1000HZ - 73
1500Hz - 80
1800Hz - 83
2000Hz - 86
2500Hz - 90
3000Hz - 93
3500Hz - 96
4000Hz - 98
4500Hz - 101
5000Hz - 103
6000Hz - 106
7500Hz - 110
10000Hz - 115
12000Hz - 119
14000Hz - 121
16000Hz - 124

Could my Audio Interface or patchbay fudge the results?

awesome! thnx a lot already

I don't think an interface or patchbay will mess with the results
