... and it would give us a go to for a particular synth sound- ie there would be a bank of emulations in the files section. Lets see if anyone else is interested...

Keen as , the only problem I face is my computer is fuct and dose not see any usb devices... I will have to wait to I get either mini command or a new computer...

Been offline for a few days moved again! and No net as yet! no cafe but a friends office just happened to a rather imo good 303 impression on the mono recently

Not necessarily, I got quite close once, I reckon a few hours of experimenting might get it close enough, it is certainly a challenge though, but may be possible - never say never LOL

When I get the time I will definately try

I plan on doing quite a few of these classic machines, I think it is good practice although can get a bit tedious.

Use c6 or other sysex utility, midi out from computer to in on MD, out from MD to in on computer, on MD goto global, select midi , select sysex recieve, specify where you want the kit to load into, send file from c6 or sysex utility on computer. A few seconds later and you will be rocking out the 808
