My design of a minicommand poly rhythm step seq 14 Years, 3 Months ago
I've wrote a blog about my design of a poly rhythm step sequencer for the minicommand, both for sharing and documentation purpose.

http://mengqimusic.blogspot.com/2009/12/my-step-sequencer-design-for-ruinwesen.html

Hope someone can do it, if not, I plan to do it myself, waiting for the new documentation manual for the Mididuino environment...

Comments welcome.

yes please... a polyrhythm step sequencer was pretty much the reason I got the minicommand, love to see this materialise.

Like you Im waiting for the manual to start fiddling with the code, though Im rubbish at stuff like that so it will take me forever to figure out. There was something posted (manual) in an unfinished/working state over at the ruin wesen forum... not sure you saw that or how finished it was?

That'll be really really nice!
Please have time! ;D

I don't have a tiny bit of interests in coding...so it just might take me forever to finish my seq...

I think its a really nice design.

I got a minicommand a while ago and havent really used it.

I think it needs to be said that MAX/MSP is a much better method for creating this kind of thing.

I use a homemade MAXMSP sequencer with my MD and MnM to get lots of flexible melodies ( odd lengths, randomization etc )

Its just a much more flexible method.
