new proud owner of Md and MnM I'm loving the sound and everything
but I feel like I will never unleash the power of them with out some video support.
I even learned from the videos with Hector on the elektron site (more we need more good stuff) and from Wessen (great tutorials) on you tube. I know there is a wiki but it's one thing to read how to make a good bass ,pads etc, but I think it would be better to see someone make sounds and load samples in a video .This is about teaching and learning. So can we make a place here on this forum where people can show videos of something they would like to teach about. I don't want to read about how to make a deep bass I want to see someone do it and then we all can learn and use the method in our own way after that but at least we know where to start. I don't want to read about how to make a pad with MnM. I want to see someone do it and we all can learn from that and at least know where to start.I'm not talking about a video with some guy tweaking his brain out, that's cool but there is plenty of that on you-tube I'm talking about Elektron University here real teaching. These Elektron machines are so deep it would be a shame not to fully tap it's power simply because know one has shown you how to use it. i mean this is not your average keyboard and drum machine here I have never used or seen anything like these elektrons there almost alien or something

i thought about doing a tutorial for fun,
it may require two cameras - one trained directly upon the instrument's interface - especially the screen ... and one camera from the other side of the room filming the tutorial person as they speak about the technique or sound.

I had an idea for a short one. Thanks for giving me an incentive. May do it once some other stuff gets cleared out.

Good shout, would be a nice to have some of the more advanced stuff covered, though Im personally not a video kind of guy... I would however support this by donating a prize to the best hector impersonator.

I'm an Elektron noob really... but I was thinking of doing a simple little tutorial just for fun, too.

On something specific, though. No general "getting started" kind of thing. Just got to think of what that should be.

It would be nice if there was a section dedicated to videos, where people could post or put links to there tutorials. I don't know who runs this great forum but I did just post this in the

^ not video specific but I would suggest the sandbox is the place to go for things like this.

Work with what we have here would be my suggestion; this site is a labour of love for Actuel and is already time consuming enough as it is.

I'm going around sampling other gear in my studio and I KNOW that there are ways to get certain sounds out of my MD that don't require me eating up my precious memory on stuff like chords and pads.

I'm a big fan of Wesen's liveset videos... they're so nicely annotated. I've watched his liveset practice vids with a fervor I usually reserve for porn.
