Lab#02 - Machinedrum SPS-1: REMIX

The MD Science Lab #02 is a remix focused Lab. The file to be remix is provided by Battery Collection (Joe Melnyk). This original file was a MD SPS-1 contest entry from November 2004 (from the Yahoo Group).

Joe's track provides an excellent starting point. I have compiled a Lab package HERE, or you can find it by visiting Downloads/Science Labs/MD Science Labs. The package contains:

Original Sysex
An MP3 of the file submitted

*Rules: Upload the original sysex file, MD only...no other hardware or vsts can be added, you can use your MD to remix this file however you want, anything in the MD goes, and no overdubbing or postproduction. SidStation Science Lab #1 - OSC: Triangle Programming: * Make one table patch using only the triangle oscillator.
* You're allowed to use all 65 steps and all three channels.
* All internal effects are allowed.
* DC knobs 1-4 cannot control oscillator type.


Recording:
* Do a live recording of the table, - minimum 1 min long.
* Trigger with C4 only, - multiple trigging is allowed.
* You may use all four DC knobs for real time tweaking.
* No editing of the recording and no external FX allowed.
* Upload the recording as mp3 and the patch sysex to participate.
